Thank you for your understanding as we have had recent staff sickness in the surgery including Covid related illness. We are doing our best given the challenges including this and managing a higher level of patient demand due to the winter/covid backlog. We are constantly looking at our appointments in order to provide excellent patient care. Please do call in to arrange an appointment when the medical need arises and our care navigators will work with you to find the right appointment for you.

Covid cases are still circulating in Gloucestershire at high levels. If you get Covid and are worried about your symptoms, or if you are vulnerable for example are unvaccinated, pregnant, older or have an underlying health condition please contact the surgery in order to arrange a telephone consultation with a clinician and offer of a pulse oximeter loan and/or referral to the covid virtual ward.

Please continue to wear a face mask when you visit the surgery as part of the government’s living with covid plan in healthcare settings.

We are planning our spring booster covid vaccine programme for all patients aged 75 or over plus patients who are immunosuppressed. This will be around six months after their previous vaccine. We will once again be offering these vaccines at Churchdown Community Centre. Our clinics are spread throughout March, April and May.

We will be contacting all eligible patients by telephone or letter over the coming month to book their appointment. Do be patient, we will contact you at the appropriate time – we have enough appointments scheduled for everyone who is due a vaccine – thank you!

Please do not call the surgery – the booking process is managed by a separate team.
