  • Dr Sharon Drewett – MB ChB 1990 (Bristol) MRCGP 1995 DCH 1993 DRGOG 1994 GMC Code: 3334038
    I grew up in London and trained at Bristol, qualifying in 1990. I worked as a GP in London, Cardiff and Brighton before moving to Gloucestershire in 2005. I am committed to providing a high quality, personalised care and am passionate about supporting people to look after their own health and wellbeing. I am a GP trainer and proud to be part of the expanding teaching team at Churchdown as we support the next generation of doctors, nurses, and other health care professionals. I am the Clinical Director of our Primary Care Network, working closely with neighbouring practices on projects such as the Covid vaccination programme.
    I am excited to be leading a project to develop a group of volunteer Health Champions and look forward to working more closely with our community in the future.
    I also have an interest in global health and have been to Nepal twice as a volunteer with PHASE Worldwide, to supervise and mentor health workers in remote Himalayan communities. I am married to Paul, a neurologist, and as our children fly the nest we are enjoying the opportunity to spend more time exploring the Cotswolds both on foot and by bike (in my case on an e-bike!). Visiting our children in various places around the UK and Europe also keeps us busy!

    I trained in Leeds, graduating in 2002. I worked in London and as a volunteer doctor in Bhutan before moving to Gloucestershire to complete my GP training. I have a special interest in elderly care and in medical education. I help run the local GP training scheme and supervise trainees working at the surgery. Outside of work I enjoy cycling, tending my allotment and running around after my 3 children.

    I grew up in Hertfordshire and trained at Cambridge and then Oxford Universities qualifying in 1986. I completed my GP training in Hertfordshire and worked as a GP there before moving to Gloucester. My husband is a local Kidney Specialist and we have 2 children who are now grown-up. I am the lead clinician for diabetes management. I am committed to providing patient-centred care and ensuring continuity of care. My interests include women’s health, paediatrics and elderly care but I love the variety that general practice provides. Outside of work I enjoy time with family, friends and a variety of music. I am also an active member of a local church.

    I graduated from Birmingham University in 2007. I met my wife while we were both in the Birmingham GP training scheme and moved to Cheltenham in 2012. I was delighted to join the practice as a full-time Partner in January 2013 and enjoy the friendly atmosphere and strong team mentality at Churchdown Surgery. I am interested in IT, gardening and have an extensive collection of carnivorous plants.
  • Dr Sarah Hepple – MB ChB 2001 (Liverpool) MRCGP 2009 MRCP 2005 DFFP 2009 GMC Code: 6029117
    I grew up in Worcestershire then trained in Liverpool. After qualifying in 2001, I worked in hospital medicine in Birmingham for 3 years prior to returning to Worcester to train as a GP. After 5 years working as a part time salaried GP (and running around after my 2 small children) I joined Churchdown Surgery in 2015 as a Partner. I am a GP trainer and enjoy sharing my enthusiasm for general practice with our medical students who join us from Bristol. I like being able to provide continuity of care for my patients whatever life throws at them and have an interest in palliative care. I run the joint injection clinic at the surgery and am proud of our surgery ethos. Outside of work I can be found in my garden, socialising with friends and family or listening to music.
  • Dr Natalie D Towle – MB BS 1991 (London) BSc DGM MRCGP 1997 DRCOG 1995 GMC Code: 3542204
    I trained in London at the Middlesex Hospital Medical School qualifying in 1991. I completed my GP training in 1997 and have been at Churchdown Surgery in various guises ever since! I have been a salaried GP in the practice for several years with particular interests in women’s health, mental health and teen issues. I have recently taken up a more regular role teaching medical students from Bristol University. Outside of work I keep busy running after my 3 (not so young) children, horse riding, and learning to play the piano badly.
  • Dr Michelle Quinn – MBCH B Liverpool 1996 DRCOG 2000 DFS RH 2006 MRCGP 2010 GMC Code: 4312208
    I was born at Gloucester Royal Hospital and have lived in Gloucester until I left for University in 1991. I attended a local Girls Grammar School. I trained in Liverpool and then lived in the North West (Southport, Wrexham, Cheshire) until I moved to Southampton in 2003. I finally returned to Gloucester in 2011, working as a locum initially until joining Rosebank Surgery as a salaried GP in 2013. I was very pleased to be offered a salaried job at Churchdown surgery in 2016 and am now a GP partner. I have an interest in Women’s health and also very much enjoy providing continuity of care and being part of the very friendly and supportive team at Churchdown. My outside interests include music, especially attending live music, looking after my animals ( I have 2 cats, 2 rabbits and 4 guinea pigs!) and spending time with my 2 boys and my large extended family.

    I trained at Cardiff University Medical school and qualified as a Doctor in 2011. After this I completed my junior doctor training in South Wales, mainly working in Cardiff, and Swansea. The Six nations was always an interesting time for an Englishman in Wales! After a year away in New Zealand, I then moved to Gloucestershire for my GP training and have worked in both Gloucester and Cheltenham and qualified as a GP in 2017. I live locally with my Wife and 2 pre-school children and enjoy mountain biking, triathlons and photography, that is when I’ve not been kept awake at night!
  • Dr Nicole Wilson – MRCGP 2020, MBBCh 2013 (Cardiff) GMC Code: 7404653
    I had the pleasure of working in Churchdown Surgery for my Registrar year, the final aspect of my GP training, and was delighted to be asked to stay on initially as a Salaried GP and then as a GP Partner. I have previously worked all round Wales, Herefordshire and Gloucestershire, but am thrilled to settle my roots now living in Cheltenham with my husband. I enjoy walking, baking, meeting up with friends and am an active part of my local church outside of general practice.
  • Dr Hein Le Roux – GMC Code 4543543
    I was born in South Africa before moving to the UK aged 14. I trained at St Mary’s Hospital in London where I met my wife Emma who is also a GP. We have 3 children and moved to Gloucestershire in 2010 after 6 years working as GPs in rural Australia. I feel very fortunate to have joined the Churchdown Practice team in 2018. They are very focused on improving patient care and this fits with my other role as Deputy Clinical Chair of Gloucestershire Clinical Commissioning Group. My clinical interests are with older people and people who have dementia.

    I graduated from Royal Free and University College Medical School in 2006 and went on to complete my GP training in London. After qualifying as a GP in 2011, I worked in a London practice for 2 years until my husband and I moved over to Gloucestershire in 2014. I was very grateful to become part of the wonderful Churchdown Surgery team in 2017 and currently work on Mondays and Wednesdays. The rest of my week is filled with looking after my two lovely and very active children.
  • Dr James Quekett – BSc MB ChB FRCGP DRCOG GMC Code: 4094142
    Trained at Bristol, qualifying in 1994 after an additional Physiology degree. I have done most of my training in Gloucestershire after spending a little time in Australia working with the flying doctor service and in Canada with the Mountain Rescue. In the past I have been involved in the development of online resources for education and training for GPs. Outside the practice I am currently involved in annual reviews of GPs via appraisal, I am also involved in looking at instances where there has been potential for improvement, understanding causes of error including human factors working within NHS systems.Outside of medicine I am a keen skier, in the summer and warmer days I may found out walking in the hills or coastal paths If not there perhaps on a boat/kayak. I am married with two grown up children who are both passionate about environmental matters and ensuring that we can all continue to enjoy our planet

    I was born in Zimbabwe and moved to the UK (Cheltenham) at the age of 15 in 2003. I completed my medical degree in Bristol and graduated in 2013. I did my GP training in Gloucestershire and qualified in 2020. I have an interest in women’s health, child health, tropical and humanitarian medicine. In 2018 I did the global health fellowship and spent a year working in a rural hospital in Eastern Cape, South Africa. Over the last few years, I have worked as a GP in a local inner city practice and I have also worked in a rural practice in the Forest of Dean.In my spare time I love travelling with my wife and exploring nature. I am a keen cyclist, I completed the Lands End to Joan O’ Groats challenge in support of a mental health charity.

    I was born and raised in Pakistan. I moved to Wiltshire in 2007 with my family and started working in NHS in 2010. I have worked in various NHS hospitals before deciding to retrain as a GP. I moved to Gloucestershire in 2016. During the course of my training, I joined Churchdown Surgery as a registrar in 2020 and have joined their friendly and dynamic team again as a locum GP. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I also like to travel. I am fluent in English, Urdu, Punjabi.

I graduated in Biomedical Sciences at Queen Mary (University of London) before completing my medical training at Barts and The London, School of Medicine and Dentistry, in 2011. I moved to Gloucester in 2015 and have worked in Gloucestershire Royal Hospital doing Medical Education as well as working as a Care of The Elderly doctor. I started training to become a GP in 2017 and I am very fortunate to be completing my last year of training at Churchdown Surgery. Outside of my role as a doctor, my full-time job is being a mum to 2 incredibly active young kids who keep me, my husband and Pepper the cat very busy and entertained. I enjoy travelling, growing orchids and try to complete a crochet project every now and then.

    I grew up in Bristol before moving to Birmingham to complete my medical training. I have completed my postgraduate training between Bristol and Gloucestershire. I am delighted to be joining the Churchdown team for the final year of my GP specialist training. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my husband and young family.
  • Dr Olivia Munn
    Olivia grew up in South West London and moved to Birmingham to study Medicine. After qualifying she trained as a GP in Gloucestershire and was a partner at a Cheltenham Practice for 20 years. She has now joined Churchdown Surgery as a salaried GP to allow her to have time to develop other professional interests.
    She is interested in all aspects of General Practice and brings with her expertise in Diabetes and an interest in management of hypertension and cardiovascular disease. She has competed additional training in managing menopause and in coaching and motivational interviewing skills for making lifestyle changes.
    She has postgraduate qualifications in medical education and is an experienced fellowship advisor, NHS GP appraiser and GP trainer.
    She lives with her husband in Cheltenham and loves yoga and hiking in the Cotswolds and further afield. To relax she rotates between knitting, crochet and other fibre arts projects and nurturing her houseplant collection. She has 2 young adult children who are both away at university.

    I graduated from St. Mary’s Hospital (Imperial College), London in 1997 which is where I met my husband Hein Le Roux who also works as a GP at Churchdown surgery. After qualifying as a GP I spent 7 years working as a GP overseas in two rural Australian communities where I developed a strong interest in Dermatology. I now work as a GP with a specialist interest in Dermatology as well as a specialty doctor within the Dermatology Department at Cheltenham General Hospital. Outside work I am kept busy with 3 teenage children and a miniature schnauzer dog. I love playing tennis and travelling.
