Churchdown Surgery Updates – 23rd February 2022

Happy Half Term for the children and parents in our community!

Following the PM’s announcement this week we wish to encourage you that we are still following Covid precautions here at the surgery. This includes the wearing of face masks for staff and patients, further personal protective equipment for clinical staff along with regular lateral flow testing for staff members in order to protect both our patients and staff.

Please continue to wear a face mask when you come to the surgery, take a lateral flow test before you come if possible and utilise our hand sanitising stations. If you develop any symptoms of possible Covid please arrange a PCR test by calling 119. We may ask you to wait in the car park prior to your appointment if you have any symptoms of Covid and you need to be seen.

If you need to book an appointment, please call our reception team who shall work with you to arrange the right appointment – with the right person at the right time – based on the need at hand. We are trying to improve clinician continuity to aid in patient care, and for this reason we may ask you to wait for a prebookable appointment which can be up to 4-6 weeks at times. Please be assured that urgent queries shall be dealt with in a timely manner.

Alternatively eConsult via our surgery website is available during working hours for submitting queries and appointment requests online.
