Thank-you

It has been a challenge with the Covid-19 pandemic and the effect that this has had on how we operate as a surgery. We thank you for your patience with us as we deal with higher demand than ever before whilst balancing this with staff sickness and the running of our vaccination clinics.

Appointments

We have increased the number and proportion of face to face appointments offered as well as optimising our appointments with the help from our care navigators. We are constantly reviewing our appointments and making changes to help make the process from booking an appointment to receiving the care you need even smoother.

Blood Bottle Shortage

This blood bottle shortage which has affected surgeries nationally is much improved thus allowing us to undertake more blood tests. Thank you for your patience where we had to ask you to wait for your routine blood test appointment.

Going Green – Help the Environment

We are updating and advising certain inhalers which require lower carbon emissions in the manufacturing and transportation – our one next step in going green!

Telephone System

We have recently updated our telephone system. Telephone calls both incoming and outgoing are recorded for quality and training purposes. We hope this update will help with our telephone communications.

Vaccinations

If you are due your booster on or before the 10th December please book your appointment using the following booking lines:

Please do not call your GP Surgery directly, nor call us yet regarding boosters for 40-49 year olds and second doses for 16 – 17 year olds – further information shall be released directly once we have these clinics planned.
