I was born in Cumbria but trained at Guys Hospital, London where I met my wife Alison, who works locally as a cardiology nurse specialist. I help guide the practice through the ever-changing NHS business environment as well as carrying out my clinical role. I live in Churchdown and both my now grown up children attended the local schools. I am a keen supporter of the Cheltenham Festivals of which my wife and I are both Patrons but also enjoy the local horse racing.

I am married to Tim Macmorland and work part time in the practice. I qualified from Guy’s Hospital in 1982 and then did a variety of hospital jobs including anaesthetics and GP training posts. I had a 10 year career break to look after our 3 children, and returned to work once they were all at school, initially doing anaesthetics, and then police work and GP locums. I love being a part of this lovely supportive practice and being able to provide continuity of patient care as a partner now.
