I grew up in London and trained at Bristol, qualifying in 1990. I worked as a GP in London, Cardiff and Brighton before moving to Gloucestershire in 2005. I am committed to providing a high quality of patient centred care and am passionate about supporting people to look after their own health and wellbeing. I am excited to be leading a project which is helping patients connect to peer support activities in our community and look forward to collaborating further with our patients and community in the future.  I am a GP trainer and proud to be part of the expanding teaching team at Churchdown as we support the next generation of doctors, nurses, and pharmacists.

I also have an interest in global health and have been to Nepal twice as a volunteer with PHASE Worldwide, to supervise and mentor health workers in remote Himalayan communities.

I am married to Paul, a neurologist, and as our children fly the nest we are enjoying the opportunity to spend more time exploring the Cotswolds both on foot and by bike (in my case on an e-bike!). Visiting our children in various places around the UK and Europe also keeps us busy!
