Requesting medication via reception

You can request medication in 4 ways:

  • Registering for our online services. This is our preferred option as it saves time for you and also for our staff.
  • Telephone your local pharmacy (external link). They can then order on your behalf. NOTE: The surgery does not accept telephone requests for medication.
  • Hand in your official repeat slip (the counterfoil from your prescription). You must tick the items you wish to request and hand it in to reception or drop it in the 'post box' directly outside our main entrance.
  • Sending your request to us by post. If you would like your prescription to be sent to you in the post, please enclose a stamped addressed envelope.

PRESCRIPTIONS CAN TAKE 2 CLEAR WORKING DAYS TO BE SIGNED BY A GP. IF YOU ORDER ON A FRIDAY AFTERNOON, IT MAY ONLY BE SIGNED ON TUESDAY AFTERNOON. This does not include the time taken for the pharmacy to prepare the prescription.
